All my projects
Well, I still haven't picked up my camisole. But I have started two new projects. I've been making granny squares out of acrylic worsted and wool ease (garage sale yarn and left overs.) I just haven't felt like buying new yarn. Okay that's a lie. I have two baskets full of left overs and a heafty bag of yarn I got at a garage sale for five bucks. I need to make some space! I have a habit of being a pack rat. ;) So this is one of my attempts to thin my yarn out. The squares are pretty cute, and are very satisifying. It takes no time to make them! Hurray, instant pleasure! I want to make enough to make a tote bag. I plan on lining it and I don't know what I'll do for the strap. I want the bag to be strong enough for my school stuff. Hmmm, I'll think about that later.
My other project is yet another scarf. Oh how I love my scarves! I love it being cold so I can wear them all the time. When I wore one when it was still hot out I received some curious looks.
This new one I am making is thin and cabled. Yay, my first cabled project. It's really simple. I got the pattern from Action Hero. It really wouldn't take my long to finish it, but I keep getting distracted.....ooooh shiny!

Hello Team Knitting Fans!
I'm the lazy one in the group when it comes to blogging. Heather (Knit Master H) has been ever so nicely pushing me to post something. So here it goes. I've been working on a camisole for about a week. I've gotten frustrated with it a couple of times so I've had a hard time picking it back up. Last time I checked I found out that I lost three stitches!!!! Erg, I can be a bit of a perfectionest with my knitting so, part of me wants to rip it out until I find where I blundered. But the other part wants to find the easiest way to correct it with the least amount of effort (i.e. add 3 more stiches.) Oh well I shall ponder this problem more later. In the mean time I think I'll make a purse. Or maybe another scarf. Oh hell, I think I'll do both! There's nothing like having a dozen projects going on at once! -------Needles

a little knitting last night
Check out what our boredom last night led to. Some of the pictures I've been downloading are kinda blurry. If you click on the picture they are much clearer. We may have knitting skills, but not really computer skills.
Also, we may be having our next Team Knitting meeting this Sunday, how does that sound?

I (Heather) finished my first sock! I'm using a pattern from Hip Knits for Knockout Socks. They are basically tube socks with ribbed ankle (so no heel). I altered the pattern and made the ribbing longer. I love the yarn, its called Magic Stripes, so it gives you stripes without having to change yarn a million times. The ribbing is pretty time consuming and slightly annoying but they rest of the sock is a breeze. Most importantly, it fits perfectly! Woo-Hoo! Now all I have to do is make the other.

First Team Knitting Meeting
This is our first post. We are the masterminds behind Team Knitting, we have a lot of members (sorta). We get together a lot (okay only once so far). We have mad knitting skills, we know how to knit aaaannnnnnnnnnddd purl. We're pretty awesome! A few of our dignified members include: Knit Master H and Needles 'N The Round (okay that's just us). The two of us get together all the time to knit and talk trash. Team Knitting is a way for us to slowly convert the whole world to knitters. HOORAY!!!!!!!
