Old Lady Shirt Reconstruction

This was a rather ugly old lady shirt before. I cut off the sleeves, removed the buttons. Then I re-sewed (probably not a word) the bottons on so it would be tighter, then it was sewn shut. Ta-Dah!!! Much cuter. Posted by Picasa

Look I'm trying it on. What do you think?

Neck Tie Wallet

Here's another look to show how the inside is sewn. And the handy-dandy snap. OOOoo and look I have some mon-ay! This is also for sale on etsy.

Update: This sold on etsy the very first day I posted it!! I'm so excited! Posted by Picasa

This is a men's neck tie that I made into an awesome wallet. I cut most of the neck tie up and ta-dah!

Purses galore

I've been busy making new purses to sale. Here are a couple of them. A new store is opening here on Campus Corner August 8th. I have been in contact with the owner and I will be selling my purses there!! I'm so excited. here is his website: http://www.aisle7.biz/ The site itself is not very exciting. The store looks pretty cute, plus it is located right next store to Luff (the local yarn store). Posted by Picasa

I think this purse is fun and funky. Posted by Picasa

I made another bear for the Mother Bear Project. I made this one fatter. I do think that I may stuff the next one even more. Isn't this one cute!? I did make her ears weirdly wide apart. I think I will make the next one wearing a skirt. If anyone is participating in this charity, let me know!! The bears can be crocheted also, for those of you who would rather crochet. **Heather** Posted by Picasa
