Yeah, so Obviously I'm pretty cool. Haha, okay I'm in the 90's somewhere.
That's all I have to say for now.
lookie what I made...
A neck tie pin. Since I'm forever making neck tie wallets, I found something to do with the teeny ends. I love brooches, they are so fun.
Barbie vs. GI JOE birthday party!
I interrupt this normally crafty blog to share a few party related pictures. Yes, I had a Barbie vs. GI JOE theme party. Here is a fun pic.
I was 'totally hair' barbie and my awesome friend was 'crochet' barbie. Cyndi made me that awesome brown hat with the pink flower. The pink jacket-y thing my Maw-maw made for me when I was a wee child. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, especially the pink poofy ball.
edited to add: Okay my Mom shut me down on this one (read comments). I lived my whole 23 years of live believing my mawmaw made me that, haha. I would like to apologize to the mystery lady who really did make it for me, she is obviously VERY cool!
Me, Kirsten, Cyndi: here we are with some cheeeesy grins.
Hilarity...
My Chris is Cobra Commander (I made him a sweet cobra badge). Then Mike and Amanda switched characters. Aren't you sad you missed out?
New Embroidery on Clothes
OoOoo Party Dress!
Here is a little party dress on a hanger, that I designed all by myself, haha. It reminds me of Barbies (which I believe were healthy toys, my self-image is fine). Over the weekend, I felt the need to embroider cool little things on shirts I have that are too small for me (to sell in my online shop). Also it was a way for me to practice embroidery on clothes, without ruining anything I actually wear. Right now I'm doing this really kick-a** flower on a plain green shirt I have, I will show pics when I finish!

I
'm obsessed with my owl design, he's so cute. Now I'm convinced I need to put an owl on something that fits me!
Here is a little crewel birdy that I designed also. I'm not really about transfers when doing embroidery. Mainly because it is alot of trouble (and cost money). I just outline what I want and go from there. I used really random colors on this tank top, but I actually like the way it came out.
Here is our little birdy friend on the tank, just so you can get an idea what it looks like. Oh and do you like my spaztastic photography for my online shop? Chris makes fun of me when I take pictures of my things in weird places, hehe.
Spaztastic is a word, I swear.
Etsy Item of the Week!
Check out this lovely shirt by Danielle
To find this and other clothing creations visit www.daniellediy.etsy.com . Her sewing is very creative, retro, and freakin' cool. I'm loving the lacy neck area, I believe it is called a yoke.
