Funky Rug project

And for my most recent project. I am taking old t-shirts and cutting them into a ball of t-shirt yarn and using it to knit this rug. I'm not using any planned color sequence, just whatever I feel like using next. Our apartment is kinda bland and I have been working on brightening it up lately. I have been asking everyone I know for any old t-shirts that aren't white (they would get dirty looking too quickly). Cyndi and I went to garage sales on Saturday to get some very cheap old t-shirts, so I have a pretty good supply right now. I'm using size 17 needles to knit this up. It actually takes roughly the same amount of time to cut the t-shirt as it does to knit it. -Heather
